BURNOUT PREVENTION

In the last 5 years, the Kineo Center has hosted over 689 individual retreats. In that time, we’ve collected and catalogued data on what truly contributes to burnout for Ministry Leaders, Non-profit Leaders, Social Workers, and Church Planters. Based on this research, we’ve hand-crafted a retreat pathway to address the emotional, relational, spiritual, and vocational weariness that can lead to burnout. The Sunrise

Wake up to a fresh breakfast in the rainforest, surrounded by the sounds of creation. Unplug from technology and take a walk down to the river to start the day rooted in God’s love. (breakfast is an additional charge and the only meal we provide).

The Sessions

We offer four 90 to 120-minute sessions linked together throughout your stay. Customized to the unique pressures you are facing, we will guide you through a Burnout Prevention Pathway, weaving together your Story, Psychology, Neurology, and the deep Spirituality of finding soul-rest. Together, we will develop a personalized take-home plan to facilitate your reintegration into your workplace.

SESSION DESCRIPTIONS

The Solitude

We do not over-program your retreat. You will have freedom to be still, take a nap, journal, or read a book by the pool. We have created a Kineo Retreat Guide that contains reflections on fear, shame, anger, loss, and hope to help nurture your time of solitude.

The Setting

We invite you to explore the beautiful locations on our side of the island. Visit one of our stunning beaches, take a moderate hike to the waterfalls, check out the Bioluminescent Bay, or even take a tour of a coffee plantation. Discover all that we have to offer!

Personal Retreat Packet

Do you need to unplug from responsibilities and unpack your weariness or woundedness? Take a personal Burnout Prevention retreat. We offer various pathways for resting, relaxing and receiving some guided reflection, consultation, and recalibration.
